What to expect from the 2017 Portland Timbers season

The Timbers will face a tough stretch to close out the season, and the team’s roster is not without its problems.

The team is set to host its first home game of the new MLS season, which will take place at Providence Park on Saturday, Sept. 11.

Here’s what to watch.

Portland Timbers schedule vs. MLS The Portland Timbers return home for their second home game this season, taking on the New England Revolution on Saturday at Providence on Saturday.

The Timbers are in a tie with the New York Red Bulls for second place in the Eastern Conference, but will face tough competition.

The Timbers will travel to play the San Jose Earthquakes at Providence Stadium on Saturday night.

The match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and online at Timbers.com.

The Portland Timbers have won the last three meetings with the Earthquakes, including a 2-1 victory on July 28 at Providence.

The Earthquakes are currently in the fourth place Eastern Conference.

The first leg of the match will take on a much different feel.

The Portland side will wear a brand new home kit, while the Revolution will wear an entirely different look.

The home jersey will be lighter, while this match will feature a new color scheme.

The Quakes are looking to end their playoff drought, having lost five straight games to the Timbers.

In their last match, they lost 2-0 at Providence, but have lost three straight overall.

The Quakes have also won six of their last eight meetings with Portland.

The second leg will be played on the road.

The Revolution have won four of their five road games, but are currently on a three-game winless streak.

This is the first of four meetings this season between the two sides.

The first meeting between the teams took place in April.

In Portland, the Timbers will look to finish the season with a home victory over the Earthquaks.

The Earthquakes defeated the Timbers 2-2 at Providence last year.
