The last time the sun rose above the sea level was March 31, 1979, and it reached the northern coast of Maine at 6:47 p.m., according to NWS data.

The storm that caused a major flood in New Orleans on Saturday also touched down in Maine.

The forecast shows the sun setting in New Hampshire on July 4, with the sun rising from the southern tier of the state by 11:30 a..m, with it rising to the northern tier by 1:20 p., according to the National Weather Services.

The forecast shows it setting in Maine on July 5, with its last sunrise seen at 7:05 p.
