The National Weather Service says that today is the first day in a row that the average temperature is in the upper 20s in the Northeast, the South, the Midwest and the West.
That’s up from an average of 26 degrees in the morning, 27 degrees in midday and 31 degrees in evening on Tuesday.
That means the Northeast and the South will likely be cooler than average.
Here’s a map showing the temperature anomalies from the previous day.
The top of the map shows the average, the bottom of the maps shows the hottest and coldest temperatures in the past 24 hours.
